Dry Roasted Peanuts - are a healthy food source, packed full of nutrients that delivers a rich source of protein, fat, carbohydrates. Being that peanuts are made up of polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats, these are both health fats that help to reduce bad cholesterol levels (LDL) and help to promote good cholesterol (HDL). Peanuts are a great source for vitamin A, C, and E. These vitamins help our body’s function properly on a daily basis.

Peanut Oil -  In our diet we need proper fat. There is a misconception on good fat vs. bad fat. It is extremely important to have fat in our diets because without the right fats our bodies would not function properly. Peanut Oil, is an organic edible oil that comes from pressing peanut kernels. This oil is low in saturated fats, free from cholesterol, and contains essential fatty acid like (linoleic acid omega-6). Another great nutritional fact is peanut oil is rich in mono-unsaturated fatty acid like oleic acid that helps to lower LDL or “bad cholesterol” and increase HDL or good cholesterol in the blood.

Xylitol - is a sugar alcohol that is naturally found in small amounts in numerous fruits and vegetables. Xylitol looks identical to sugar in consistency and taste, but has 40 percent fewer calories and 75 percent less carbohydrates than sugar. Furthermore, xylitol is not easily converted to fat and has almost no effect on insulin levels, making it a great substitute for diabetics, bodybuilders and dieters. Also another great characteristic of xylitol is its ability to strength tooth enamel!

  • Xylitol and Dogs Xylitol which is a natural sugar alcohol, is safe in humans. We ask that you please keep all xylitol and xylitol containing food products out of reach from dogs. Even small amounts can be toxic to dogs. If you do however suspect your dog has ingested a xylitol- containing food, we suggest you immediately contact your local veterinarian.

Flax seeds - are great source of protein, fiber, and omega-3 fatty acids. The main omega-3 fatty acid found in flaxseeds is Alpha-Linoleic Acid, or ALA. ALA is an effective antioxidant that can enhance the activity of Vitamin C, and E. Another unique characteristic about flaxseed is their mucilage (gum) content.  This trait helps give our peanut butter a smoother, creamier texture. For health benefits this (gum) actually helps prevent the rapid emptying of the food in your stomach, thus increasing the absorption of certain nutrients in the small intestine.

Chia seeds - are grown natively in South America, known to be an important health food of the ancient Aztecs and Mayans, for its ability to provide them with sustainable energy. The name “Chia” was named by the Mayans, and means “Strength”. Chia Seeds are packed full of omega-3, omega-6, high protein, fiber, and calcium. Chia seeds are often compared to flaxseeds in health benefits, Being smaller then a flax seed, they are filled with two times the protein, then most grains, while containing five times more calcium than milk.
